Course Focus: The primary goal is to provide viewers with the information necessary to make their construction process a little smoother and understand more about how to manage their build and the parties involved in it.

THIS COURSE FOLLOWS THE COMPREHENSIVE GUIDE AND CHECKLIST TO CUSTOM HOME BUILDING.

Included Topics and Focus Areas

  • Construction Details: The training gets into details regarding various important parts of the construction process.
  • Support for Self-Builders: The series includes details and information designed to help viewers along the way during their build.

Scope Limitations and Disclaimers

The training series specifically notes certain areas that are not included in the material:

  • Specifics for how to build a house are not included in this training.
  • Specifics for how to do a full-bore estimate are not included. (Note: Training is included on working through an estimate, but not a “fullbore” one.)
  • The training cannot provide a “lifetime of experience”.
  • Access to complex documents, such as the AIA (Architectural Institute of America) documents for contracts and subcontracts, still will not make the viewer a builder.
